Cocktail Club: Fairground Nostalgia

Welcome to Cocktail Club! This is a super cool new weekly segment where we make awesome cocktails together to drink on a Saturday night! I have zero experience on making cocktails but I have partnered up with some well known brands and got some recipes so heck, what could go wrong?

Today’s recipe is a little one I have twisted and adapted - I have called this ‘Fairground Nostalgia’ and it is crazy easy to make, it just takes a couple of minutes!

You’ll need just two types of alcohol for this cocktail…

Cider - pick an apple cider of your choice, make sure it is crisp and fruity, you don't want anything too bitter as it’ll go funny with the other ingredient!

Pick up some Oddka Salted Caramel Popcorn flavoured vodka, this bizarre brand creates vodka with tastes that for some odd reason, actually work!

Step 1: make sure you get your glass super chilled, fill it with ice. Add 1 jigger of the Salted Caramel Popcorn Vodka.

Step 2: Add your cider on top of this - you can also do it the other way around where you add the cider first and then drop in a shot of the vodka.

Step 3: Enjoy! The flavours will take you right back to your childhood days at the fair eating popcorn and toffee apples…however more alcohol infused!

Have you given it a go? Let me know in the comments below or on Twitter what you think - if you haven't tried it yet, give it a go tonight in a group and reminisce about the Helter Skelter.
