It’s back, one of the most anticipated photo-ops on the celebrity calendar, Coachella…I mean, come on - they don’t exactly go for the music, do they? Held in the heart of SoCal this music and arts festival has grown in popularity amongst the big stars with many an opportunity to get papped having some fun in the sun.
With an Instagram feed full of people showing off their Coachella style, it gave me a little inspiration for this blog post. Outfits are planned months in advance for Coachella because you never know where a camera might be hiding - you want your style to be crazy on point. The girls style is obviously easy, like there is a hell of a lot of floral headbands taking up my Instagram feed so let’s focus on what you could wear to your summer festival if you’re one of the guys.
If you’re the vest wearing sort then a festival is obviously an applicable place to show off your jazziest (do people still use the word Jazzy? Did people ever…). This monochrome relaxed fit vest from BooHooMAN features a step hem and even has a pocket in the front, a great option for a festival to store all those booze pennies in! For just £12 BooHoo is a brilliant place to head to get your discounted fashionable items!
T-Shirts are probably the best bet for a festival - you can go so many different ways with a t shirt - rock some bright, bold colour to fit the festival vibes or go ultra trendy with dark colours. This Black Wet Look Longline T-Shirt from Topman is a fantastic option, I know I feature Topman a lot BUT I genuinely think they are fantastic quality and produce brilliant on-trend items that will fit a variety of different events. This £22 tee will give you a bold and edgy look at your summer festival.
I can’t lie, I am all about a long line tee at the minute. I think this New Look option is fantastic, the side zip details give a really edgy look and add something a bit different to your festival style for only £12.99!
There’s plenty of options when it comes to shoes - rock a sneaker if you fancy being comfortable, a welly if you’re sensible and don’t want to get your favourite sneakers dirty OR rock a smart shoe if you’re a bit of a pilloc….anyway…
If you haven’t come across Zee & Co before definitely check them out - they have a fantastic range of branded footwear - their sneaker collection is definitely second-to-none and to be fair their prices aren't too steep either with their prices on trainers starting at just £35 - they also have a scattering of stores across the South East of the UK.
