The Shades

I definitely think shades are one of the most important things for the summer. Not only to protect your peepers but also to style up your outfit and go all out for the summer - here I have picked my top 4 (because who needs 5?!) summer shades that you definitely want to be rocking, be it chilling by the pool, checking out the amazing scenery or laid on the beach!

New Look have a great range of sunglasses and the great thing about them is that they aren't going to cost you an arm and a leg - if you’re worried about getting expensive frames and breaking them or you’re just getting in to wearing sunglasses these £5.99 aviator-style frames are a brilliant option!

If you’re like me an a bit of a designer freak, you’ll for sure like these. I think I am well and truly known now for wearing Ray-Ban’s Wayfarer frame - I have had them for years both as my day-to-day prescription glasses and also as my sunglasses - they’re probably one of Ray-Ban’s most recognised frame. Vision Express have a huge range of Ray-Ban’s and it’s taken me ages to pick which ones to include in this post so I decided to go with my old favourite, the Wayfarer available from Vision Express for £125!

I love the Sunglass Hut’s website - so easy to use and looks really awesome. They also have a huge range of sunglasses - I really like the look of polarised lenses, personally I just think they add another dynamic and stop your glasses looking flat. These Oakley sunnies are super on trend and the great thing is they aren't too big so won't swamp your face. The flash of the striking gold lenses is what I am all about this summer, these are super cool glasses, available online for £125 - these are sure to add a little dynamic to your beach style.

These Signature Sunglasses from Next feature a handmade acetate frame and filter category three which is a dark tint for use in sunny conditions. Next always manage to keep their styles on trend, these sunglasses have the designer look…actually comparable to the Ray-Ban Clubmaster but without the designer price tag - these are available for a pretty cool £40!

What do you think? Do you have a favourite style and brand of sunglasses or are you just giving stylish sunnies a go for the first time this year? Let me know! 😎
