With January’s London Fashion Week Men’s currently on, now seemed like the perfect time to crown the Stylish Man of the Year, as nominated and voted for by you!
In December, nominations opened for you to nominate your style hero, Calvin Harris, Jim Chapman and Oliver Cheshire and more all received a huge amount of nominations which saw them go through to the next stage…the public vote. I was astounded by the amount of votes cast in the week-long public vote. A staggering 16,876 individual people voted and there was one very clear winner who received 86% of the vote.
After scooping over 14,500 votes alone, a personal style hero of mine, David Gandy was crowned the Stylish Man of the Year!
The 36 year old male model is hugely well known for collaborations with M&S and Dolce & Gabbana. For me, David’s style is classic, gentlemanly and always on point.
His signature suited style just works for every occasion and when dressed a little more casual, still has a total air of dapper running through his look.
I think David is a more than deserving winner, he represents men in a fantastic way - David has had so many style highs in the last 12 months and it’s clear these are only going to increase, so being crowned Stylish Man of the Year is the perfect fit.
Congratulations to all who were nominated and shortlisted. What do you think of the winner? Drop a comment or Tweet below!
