If your a sneaker head like my very self then you’ve probably been checking for Adidas’ Yeezy 350 Boost black colourway since midnight…only to find out they weren't being dropped until 9am this morning.
However, it seems wherever you went online, apparent technical glitches stopped you being able to buy them. So really and truly…did the stores ACTUALLY have any stock at all?!
If like me you started over on Footlocker you probably arrived at 9am…the time they stated the collection would go live. Unfortunately Footlocker can’t keep their word and set them live around 20 minutes earlier. When I got to the site my size was still in stock. I got to the final stage of the checkout before being informed they had cancelled my order…surely when something is in the basket, it’s in the basket?! It seems it isn't just me that this happened to…
So after that failed attempt I headed over to JD Sport. They announced on their Twitter the shoes had just gone live…as you’ll see from the below Tweets, not one person managed to get access to the shoes.
Three minutes later, JD announced that due to high demand…they were sold out! Amazing that they can have such high demand that they don’t even need to set them live on their website. This is really bad practice from JD (which makes a change..) and I personally think that if you’re going to launch a product…you launch it, maybe I’m just old fashioned? JD then obviously continue by not replying to their disgruntled prospective customers…bravo!
Did you get your hands on some Yeezy 350 Boosts? How long were you camping for?
